Bold meets Basic ​​is inspired by every aspect of my life. I believe our appearance is a reflection of where we have been, where we are going, and our story in itself. For me, home has always played the biggest role in my life and my style. The Basic side of my style is most certainly a reflection of my put-together and down-to-earth life. As far as the Bold side goes, I believe it reflects the "where I am going" part. Since family is such a huge part of who I am, growing up and moving onto adult life is a transition that isn't as easy. The "Bold" parts of my style reflects the unpredictable journey that the future holds in store for me but I always keep my basics to remind me of where I came from. For some reason, I have always felt comfort in fashion. I can plan exactly what kind of day I am going to have the night before just by choosing clothes to wear. I have made it routine to have my outfits set out for me nights, even days, before. This makes for more productive, structured days. If I am proud of what I am wearing, I am more inclined to do more throughout the day. Our appearance empowers us. It is an expression and a form of art.
